No.1 Polluter
Are we next? China will bypass US as the highest emitter of green house gases this year. It was earlier predicted, China will overtake US in 2010. Unprecedented and unexpected levels economic growth has propelled this. Is India on the track to win the race? I am sure this is one race most of us don’t want to be winning. Is it not time we act?

Nope..we Indians don't wanna act. We too want the same economic development as the two countries mentioned above.Please don't try to stop us, protest about something in the US...

The best way to stop India from becoming more polluted is by migrating to other countries and polluting them. So hail all the people who participated in the brain drain. They are lessening the pollution here!

Ashwin! I am not protesting and I am not against development. I do want to see India No 1 like you want to and ofcourse I want India to be better than US or China. And I am not protesting I am just telling we need to take a look around and develop state-of-art techniques which will reduce our dependence on fossil fuels that are bound to run out and use more eco-friendly renewable sources of energy now! that way we reduce pollution and are ahead in the rat race!
I talk about this issue because I am an Indian and I love my country and coz I want it to be the best!
